The Future Of Commerce

Commerce is changing. Retailers are closing stores. Consumers are shopping in stores less and less. Yet, for most brands and retailers, their relationship remains locked in a bygone era, a time when retailers would buy wholesale from brands to stock their shelves. While ecommerce has exploded, most mid to high end brands and retailers still work together the same way, treating ecommerce simply like an additional store with shelves that need to be stocked.

Online, the driving force of ecommerce has been the emergence of marketplaces with Alibaba, Amazon, and Ebay accounting for over $500 billion of retail sales in the $1.3 trillion global ecommerce market. That’s right, these three companies generate over 40% of total ecommerce sales volume.

This massive trend is just starting to be embraced by mid to high end brands and retailers. In the near future, every retailer will continue to have a component of their business where they stock their shelves, and additionally, every retailer will launch a marketplace, or drop ship program, or vendor direct program.

That’s where we come in. RevCascade is building the tools to help brands and retailers rapidly scale this new component of their business. Where today this market is defined by manual processes that don’t scale, RevCascade transforms drop shipping into a massive revenue stream.

At RevCascade, we are a team of dreamers, entrepreneurs, and builders. We are building an authentic culture that embraces the unknown, values guts over glory, and recognizes that respect is earned in every moment in everything that we do. We take pride in building world class products that benefit the market we serve. And we love a challenge.
