ABOUT US

As brands and retailers attempt to keep pace in today’s changing retail landscape, consumers spent over $700 billion last year on marketplaces, more than 40% of global ecommerce sales. Marketplaces comprise the fastest-growing segment of ecommerce.

However, operating marketplaces efficiently and making them scalable for both brands and retailers is wrought with friction, holding the market back. That’s where we come in. RevCascade’s intuitive marketplace platform automates the business of dropshipping on an end-to-end basis—everything from product management to inventory control to transaction data. Brands and retailers can operate all of their dropshipping relationships in one, easy-to-operate platform. And that’s huge.

Like many innovative products, RevCascade was born out of necessity. Back in 2010, Andrea Tobin was knee-deep in launching her cult brand, Marla Cielo. As Andrea developed relationships with dropship ecommerce sites she quickly realized that managing each relationship individually—inputting product details, manually updating inventory, and keeping track of every sale and return—was holding her company back. “If only there was a platform that could automate dropshipping,” Andrea pondered. And the idea for RevCascade was born.

Over the next several years, Andrea nurtured this idea with former colleague Josh Wexler, a serial entrepreneur who helped propel the Rubicon Project, a pioneer in the online advertising industry, from a pre-revenue start-up through its IPO on the NYSE in 2014.

As marketplaces grew to dominate the ecommerce landscape and more and more retailers launched dropship programs, the need for RevCascade grew. Andrea and Josh enlisted an elite group of former Rubicon execs as their co-founders: Julie Mattern joined as RevCascade’s CTO; Matt Meyer, SVP Operations & Strategy; Samantha Henderson, SVP Business Development; and Kyle Stainer, SVP Product & Engineering.

Today, one RevCascade integration enables a brand or retailer to dropship with any trading partner of their choice. RevCascade integrates with any existing system used by brands or retailers to facilitate product information management, inventory updates, and transactions. In addition to integrating with disparate systems, RevCascade delivers merchandising tools to enable brands and retailers to stay in complete control of products and pricing. All of this functionality comes to life via RevCascade’s reporting dashboard, which provides a consolidated view of dropshipping revenue for brands and retailers.

With offices in New York and Los Angeles, RevCascade’s goal remains the same: to give brands and retailers a powerful, intuitive platform that transforms dropshipping into a scalable revenue stream. Please let us know how we can help your business thrive.
